Then the choir ‘ La Rose des Vents’ is for you.If you like to sing, don’t hesitate to come and join us.You can do it in a friendly and friendly group.We perform a repertoire of classical, secular and religious music. This year we are recruiting new members.

La Rose des vents is a community choir of francophones and francophiles who meet on Monday nights to sing in French.

Rehearsals are held in French during the season, which usually runs from September to May, at the Centre des Grands-Vents. New members are welcome; it is not necessary to audition or to speak perfect French.

History of the choir

In its early years, between 1977 and 1981, the Frecker choir was directed by Tom Fagan, but in 1992 the choir disbanded.
It was only four years later, in 1996, that the President of the Francophone Association, Andrée Thoms, asked Jacques Chollet to start up a francophone choir, which he directed up until 2002.
